MISSION Jason Riccitelli established the Connecticut Elite Basketball Program (2001) with Randy Farkas (Name Change / multiple State-wide AAU Program mergers). With the partnership of Sedric Veazey (2005) we have changed the face of AAU Basketball in Connecticut and New England. The program name has changed to Connecticut Elite Basketball Program along with new sponsorship (adidas Phenom) to continue to help enhance and develop the player athletically, academically, and socially for their college experience and life after basketball. This Elite program provides the top skill instruction & player development, the top competition, and the top exposure by surrounding players with experienced coaches that have been successful in life, in bussiness, and have integrity as well as commitment to be the best coach, teacher, and role model possible.
CONNECTICUT ELITE PROFILE The Connecticut Elite Basketball Program was established in 2001 as a non-profit, 501(C) (3) charitable organization to provide basketball skill training, competition, educational help, and financial assistance to all levels of players.
But what does that really mean? Understanding the ultimate goal of the Connecticut Elite Basketball Program is to understand that it provides a venue or opportunity for the top skill instruction, player development, and college scholarship offers for our student-athletes. Because of Elite, there is an increased opportunity of exposure to college coaches and the opportunity to get an invitation to the adidas or Reebok Summer All-American Basketball Camps. Since, Elite is currently the top rated AAU / Grassroots Program in Connecticut, one of the top AAU programs in New England, and Nationally recoginzed across the country; we know the importance of exposure for our student-ahtletes and we will be giving invitations to the All-American camps for those prospects. As a high school student-athlete the importance of being in an elite program is the ultimate because the exposure that is given to Elite athletes puts them in a position to be highly recognized in Connecticut, New England, and around the Country.
